You Give Me Fever

Super woke up this morning "sick". She wanted to stay home. Our conversation went like this:

Super: Can I stay home Mom, I'm sick. (sniff sniff. cough)

Me: Let me see if you have a fever. (I place my hand on her forehead to check) You feel just fine to me Super. I think you can go to school.

Super: No, Mom my head's hot, you just touched a cold spot.

Ah, you got to love her. What a funny girl!

I have a childhood memory of the song "Hot Blooded." When I was very young, I had this song memorized. Of course the meaning was way over my head. I just loved it. Anyway, I would perform this song for anyone who would listen. I remember singing it for the teenage girl across the street and all of her friends. Ah, the memories.

I remember putting the thermometer on the heater vent trying to trick my mom into letting me stay home. Ash's response is priceless...a cold spot, lol! Love it!

Looks like you might have a Ferris on your hands!! Just kidding :} If she is sick I hope she is feeling better, if she isn't I hope she doesn't get sick!

She says some of the funniest things. At this point my kids still want to go to school even if they're on fire and hacking up a lung.
