November 11 (Freedom)

I'm so thankful for the armed forces and their families. In my opinion, both serve our country. What a sacrifice that must be to send husbands, dads, moms, wives, sons and daughters away to preserve and protect our freedoms. And what a hard thing that must be to leave loved ones home. And especially to the men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

My friend Monica takes pictures of farewells and homecomings. Her work is amazing. Every time I see her military photos I feel a sense of gratitude for our military and their families. Click here for the Cocoa Beans blog. She just added more pictures today that are fantastic! Click here for the album.
Happy Veterans Day!
I almost forgot the song:
Do You Hear the People Sing from Les Mis. To me, that song IS Veterans Day. When Sue was in choir, they sang that each year at the Veterans Day concert.

Yes, I'm grateful as well. Beautiful photos. I was hoping to get on the computer earlier to do a post and now I'm so tired, I don't think I will tonight. But thank you for yours!
