Map of the World

AKA. Shadow Shot Sunday

While at the zoo on Monday, I found this cute little prop. The canopy over head and things behind the canvas wall made for some cool shadows.

Do you have any cool shadow pics you want to share? If so, go to Hey Harriet.

Song for today: Maps by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs (BTW: this is one of my fave Rock Band songs and I LOVE the drums in it!!!! Some day, I hope to have a real set of drums so that I can play along)

Happy Shadow Shot Sunday! :)

Nice, looks a bit like a flag is projected on the wall.

Where was this at the zoo? Never seen it before! AND.... guess what! Someone else said she was having trouble accessing my blog, but others as well. She thinks it's a problem with Internet Explorer? Is that what you use? Just curious!
btw... hanging out was FUN and did you see that Evette is also participating in SSS this week? YAY!!

They are cool shadows you found there! Hey I like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs too! Drumming is fun! I sometimes have a bash on drum kits belonging to friends. I'm hopless, but it sure is fun to bang away and make loud noise ;) Hope you do manage to get some drums of your own :)

Shannon,
This was in the Discovery Theater. It's kind of nestled in the corner of the Discovery area. They had a really cute show for kids about animal movement. They showed the Madigascar Hissing Cockroaches, a king snake, and several other animals. After, they even let the kids touch some of them. It was a cute show. Next time you are there, you should ask were to find it. Also be sure to check out the bird show if you haven't already!
And about your blog, yes, I think it may be an internet explorer thing, but I don't have another brouser.
